Generally
Rashes on the skin can occur for different reasons and look different. Dry skin is sensitive and easily irritated, which can cause both itching and rash. Allergy and hypersensitivity can appear in the form of eczema, dry spots, red dots or swollen and reddening skin. Some skin diseases such as rosacea and acne can also cause skin rashes.

Common symptoms
Many rashes are related to allergy and hypersensitivity. They can itch, burn or give a burning sensation. Most rashes are harmless and disappear when treated.

Heat, cold and insect bites of mosquitoes, wasps and ticks are also a common cause of rashes and dots on the skin.

Some skin diseases such as rosacea and acne cause redness on the face. Both rosacea and acne are harmless skin inflammations that can be treated.

Nausea rash is often noticed by pale red, swollen and tingling rashes. Typical of hives is that they occur quickly and can even go over quickly, leaving no marks behind.

Many childhood diseases, such as chickenpox, swine, autumn blisters and three-day fever, cause harmless rashes, often in combination with fever. Common viral infections can cause small red dots on the face or body that disappear some time after the infection has healed. Eczema, dry skin, heat rash and diaper eczema are also common in children.

Treatment
Rashes are treated differently depending on the cause. Some rashes do not need treatment, but heal spontaneously. With dry skin and rashes, it often helps to lubricate regularly with softening cream. Dry blushing rashes with itching can be treated with non-prescription cortisone cream.

If this does not help or in the case of more serious problems, you should seek medical attention.

Always seek urgent care if:

Your rashes itch very much and you have difficulty breathing or swelling on your face.
The rash is rapidly changing and spreading rapidly over large areas of skin.
What can I do for myself?
Avoid to the extent that it is possible to scratch the rash.

If you get hives due to food allergies, you need to avoid that food.
Be careful about alcohol that can trigger hives.
